The concert will be preceded by the screening of a documentary that tells the extraordinary story of the Stradivarius violin played by Joshua Bell.
This story extends from the late 19th century when Johannes Brahms himself could hear the instrument played by the legendary violinist Bronislav Huberman,to contemporary times through the terrible period of World War II.
